We are delighted to share an early Christmas present with our members! Today our club placed an order for a ClubTurf International Pitch, often referred to as an artificial wicket, which will be installed next to the existing cricket square at Dalnacraig.

ClubTurf are one of the UK's leading cricket equipment installers and their premier product is the ECB Approved 'International Pitch', which offers a very high quality playing surface.

We hope installation of this pitch will reduce the groundworks burden on our volunteer groundskeepers, give us an additional training facility, host many junior and senior matches, plus allow us to play more games when weather conditions may be mixed.

This is a significant investment of over £14 000 in our club, and we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to long serving player Colin "Prof" Reid for kindly donating a very significant sum towards this development, in addition to the High School of Dundee and The Cricket Development Trust Scotland who donated the remaining balance.

We hope this new pitch will be installed early in the new year and we will keep all our members up to date with the installation works via the usual communication methods.
